Q CELLS X PENRITH SOLAR CENTRE
Penrith Solar Centre’s director Jake, took on Germany with Q CELLS as an official Q Partner. He had a blast at the Messe Munchen as we looked into the Q CELLS Technology and Innovation Headquarters.
Jake has taken the time to sit down and tell us about all the exciting things to come in the solar world after attending the Intersolar Europe Exhibition. What do you think is coming?
Q CELLS
A brand new G6 panel is making its way to the Australian market late 2019. With a 350 kW split cell panel, this bad boy is one too look out for. Added bonus, 25 year warranty. Q CELLS are introducing something we haven’t seen before, Q Home – their very own battery and inverter series. They announced their introduction into electric car charging, soon you will be able to install a Q CELL car charger in your very own home.
We took a seat with the Research and Development department to discuss solar within the Australian Market and what our demand calls for.
FRONIUS
We also took a look at the Fronius stand and saw some new exciting items. Including the new Hybrid Inverter looking to reach the Australian market in 2020. This inverter will also work as a battery backup. Should the grid go out, this product can provide limited power to run items such as your fridge and more. They are also launching a new App, but don’t worry if you already have the app it will be as simple as an update.
TESLA
The Germany breeze blew us to the Tesla stand (of course), which gave up a sneak peek on what’s to expect late 2019. New getaway 2 will be launched! The current battery on the market will still be the Tesla Powerwall 2 but upgrade will be expected shortly.
ENPHASE
Enphase is the world leading company that we work with in order to fulfil your Micro Inverter needs. They have announced something new to come at the end of 2019 or early 2020… The IQ 8. This amazing product is essentially battery backup but without a battery. If in the case of a blackout this little beauty will still power your home.
